소개

Kyungmoon Park is a contemporary abstract resin artist who creates a visual escape to the other place for viewers to enter a new world of cool comfort and crisp elegance. Park graduated Bachelor’s Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota. She is most passionate about contemporary painting and pouring arts. She is from South Korea where she found her passion for art from an early age then has been pursuing the dream of becoming an environmentally inspirational artist and designer at the University of Minnesota. She is currently working on pouring arts that express the beauty of our nature. Her work is heavily influenced by the colors, textures, sounds, and rhythms of the natural world. Some of her most recent collections have been inspired by her travels and unknown landscapes. The natural world is where her body feels alive, freedom in mind and restored in spirit. Inspired by nature, she depicts beauty through dynamic colors, fluid movements, and naturalness.

자연의 색과 질감, 냄새, 소리, 리듬 등에서 영감을 받아, 사람들에게 많이 알려지지 않은 장소나 내가 그 곳에서 보고 느낀 감정과 느낌 등을 바탕으로 하여 기억을 떠올려 표현하였다.

자연이 작품의 밑 바탕이 되는 만큼 역동적이고 유동적으로 움직이는 듯 한 느낌, 자연스러운 퍼짐, 번짐 등을 적극적으로 활용하였으며, 자연의 지닌 순수한 조형 요소를 기반으로 추상성을 나타내었다.

보는 이가 무한한 감각을 체험하길 바라며, 편안함과 독특한 아우라의 세계로 들어갈 수 있는 시각적인 탈출을 경험하길 바란다.
